I found that this iconic song, with simplistic lyrics, was much more difficult to sing than it appeared. The closed vowels on the high jumps combined with the consonants that stop the breath add a level of complexity that can be hard to pull off. The simplicity of the lyrics can have a tendency to lull you into a lazy tongue. For example, I noticed that my diction of Jesu sounds more like I'm saying "Yĕh-zōō" instead of "Yĕh-sōō." On the alto part I sounded more like I was saying "Yā-sōō" instead of "Yĕh-sōō." So, that's something to keep in mind as you're singing. Additionally, "Agnus" can end up sounding like "an-yōōs" instead of "ag-nyōōs" if you're not careful.

I always recommend doing your own research. My videos are only meant to be a guide for amateur singers, like me. Your ears may hear things differently and depending on your accent or the way you naturally speak, you may need to adjust some of the phonetics to help que your pronunciation or rhythm.
