Between San Telmo and the Playa Martianez beach are the largest natural swimming pools in Europe in Puerto de la Cruz. They are a special attraction. This bathing area is accessible to all tourists for a fee. The seven bathing areas are filled with seawater. Spraying water fountains built into lava rock flood the individual bathing areas. The architect of Paradies is César Manrique. The water fountains that shoot out of the water from time to time in the middle of the baths are remarkable. There is also a restaurant with a terrace and a bar within the lower complex. We have visited the swimming pools several times and were impressed by the design and location as well as the spaciousness. A good alternative to the hotel pool for young and old when the weather is nice.
