Scott Davis from HeyUGuys interviews Ben Miles on the red carpet of the premiere of The Crown Season 2, the Netflix series based on the lives of the British Royal Family, held at the Odeon, Leicester Square.
The series is written by Peter Morgan and directed by Stephen Daldry. It stars Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II and Doctor Who’s Matt Smith as Prince Pihlip. Joining the cast for the new season are Matthew Goode as Lord Snowdon, Dexter’s Michael C Hall, who is playing John F Kennedy along with Jodi Balfour who will portray Jackie Onassis.
Beginning with soldiers in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces fighting an illegal war in Egypt, and ending with the downfall of her third Prime Minister, Harold Macmillan after a devastating scandal, the second season bears witness to the end of the age of deference, and ushers in the revolutionary era of the 1960s.
