Описание: During First Minister's Questions in Holyrood this afternoon, Scottish Green Party co-convenor, Patrick Harvie, fought back tears as he paid tribute to SNP MSP Christina McKelvie after it was announced she had lost her battle with cancer, aged 57.

First Minister John Swinney then spoke about her legacy and how others can learn from how she acted within her role as a politician.

Many politicians openly weeped as the parliament honoured the late MSP.
