This time we head to Taupō for a proper shed tour at a place known locally as The Chop Shop.
Inside the shed is an unreal mix of JDM legends, race cars, and properly built street cars. We walk through each build, hear the stories behind them, and then finish the day the right way with some seat time.
Cars featured in this shed tour include:
• Subaru GF8 WRX
• Honda S2000
• Mitsubishi GTO MR
• EP Toyota Starlet race car
• EK9 Civic running a K24 swap
• KE70 wagon with a 13B bridgeport
• Factory turbo Mazda MX-5
• Big turbo, manual Toyota Caldina GT-T
To top it off, we head out for a drive in the KE70 wagon, getting a proper taste of that rotary power on the road.
