I compiled a list of ideas for songs I wanted to cover, and this was one of two songs from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team that was on the list (the other was Adventure's End and it's already out). This is one of my favorite soundtracks from the game, and it fits perfectly with my favorite part of the game: the giant battles. This is also because of how passionate I feel about giant characters (considering I made several OCs and two of them have original songs out on the channel already, plus one remake), and I mentioned this fact in the first video where I revealed OCs, including Nightmare Mario, Midnight Luigi, Twilight Peach, Sunset Daisy, and Rosaluna ("Lunar Rosalina"), who are all fire giants in Mario Legends. I feel like the way this theme plays out expresses how Luigi, in order to ensure Mario's safety, turns into a giant and fights against his fears. This is symbolized by how it starts off in the bass and gradually ascends into the soprano. Therefore, I included a growing motive and trade-off sequence. One more thing this theme's development makes me think of is "reaching great heights."
