The Royal Guard of Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, being marched back to Ballater barracks in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This was on Monday 19th August 2024, after the Royal Guard had welcomed His Majesty King Charles III to Balmoral Castle.
The march was led by The Pipes and Drums of The Royal Corps of Signals, followed by the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Behind them was The Royal Regiment of Scotland's mascot, Shetland pony, Corporal Cruachan IV. His Majesty's Royal Guard were under the command of Major Neil Cargill.
