I HAVE MY OWN HOOD STRUTS! ThatkidRBM 8th Gen Civic Carbon Fiber Hood Struts Install

Описание: Hey everyone! ThatKidRBM here back at it with another video. Great news! My very own hood struts are finally for sale on my website! This video shows you what is in the box when you receive them as well as how to install them.

What comes in the package:
2 ‘ThatKidRBM’ Carbon fiber hood struts
2 Left-hand side strut brackets
2 Right-hand side strut brackets
4 strut clips
2 11mm bolts
2 11mm nuts
2 washers
1 ThatKidRBM Slap Sticker

Tools needed for the installation:
normal or electric ratchet
10mm socket
11mm socket
11mm wrench
Clip remover
Flathead screw driver

These will work on all USDM 2006-2011 Honda Civic sedans and coupes, CDM Acura CSX's and JDM Honda Civic FD Models.

(They may work on other cars depending on hood hinge and fender hole locations)

With these hood struts you can finally eliminate the factory hood prop. With that out of the way, you will have more room to work on the engine bay and it looks great as well.

Just pop the hood latch and lightly raise the hood and watch it rise on its own to the perfect opened position.

Disclaimer- These are full pressure hood struts so they are for metal 8th gen hoods, They are NOT recommended for carbon fiber or fiberglass hoods because of their pressure rating. I am working with my supplier to try to produce some half pressure ones as well so stay tuned for that.

There is a very limited quantity for the first drop so get them while you can!

I also spoke about the brand new FA5 HFP lip kit that I had sitting in my storage. If I don’t get a crystal black pearl fa5 for me to use those on, I’ll either leave them in storage since they’re so rare or I’ll raffle them once I figure out shipping for such a large package. I might make a video on that as well.
