How I Cut My Sister's Hair! ✄

I did it! ✄ I cut my sister's hair! ✄ My sister, Melinda and I are 15 months apart in age (I'm the big sister) and our whole life our mom has cut our hair and I've cut both of theirs off and on over the years. Sadly, our mom passed away on Feb 1, 2016 and we miss her dearly. But, her memory lives on and also the cape I'm using on my sister was hers, so it makes it bittersweet as I cut Melinda's hair in it.

At the end of the video she tells how I shaved her head, but I think she's making up stories! You know how sisters are! She probably cut it herself and blamed it on me! Haha!

As I'm cutting her hair we laugh and giggle and that's why I love her so much, because it's always fun to reminisce about the "old days". Her daughter, Tabatha was sitting nearby and every once in awhile she chimes in from the background. She's pregnant and baby Claire is due in early December 2016! Yay! We can't wait 💖

What is Locks of Love?

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.
