Join Louis Magnifico as he answers the questions of his protestant friend, John, who is investigating the claims of the Catholic Church. Each episode of Questioning Catholicism answers a different question. In this episode, Louis discusses Mary's need for salvation. Specifically, John asks Louis if Catholics believe Mary needed to be saved? And if so, does that mean that Mary sinned?

Questioning Catholicism launched in late 2025 with a mission to proclaim the truth, goodness, and beauty of the Catholic Church through evangelization and education using innovative audio & video presentations, articles & essays, podcasts, and books on the Catholic faith. We make the vast majority of our content available free of charge to both parishes and laity.

Currently, two books are in the pipeline: one on the subject of the Rosary and one on Faith (specifically what St. Augustine referred to as the Reward of Faith).

We are committed to excellence in all that we do – both in our research and theology as well as the quality of our products and productions. Most of our content is created with three audiences in mind: 1) those considering the claims of the Catholic Church, 2) those returning home to the Catholic Church after having spent time away from the faith, and 3) “Cradle Catholics” who have just been “going through the motions” for years and are now feeling the call to learn more about Catholicism and go deeper in their faith.

While we plan to make most all of our content available at no charge, it does cost money to produce this content. In addition, there is a significant amount of time involved in both the research and production. Your support is what enables all of this to occur.
