It’s good to be back! The 2025 season kicked off with a tough one at the St. John’s River — a Florida fishery we know well, but that always finds a way to challenge us.
Practice had its moments, but the tournament was a different story. Cold fronts slowed things down, and fish moved on us daily. Benton found a little rhythm and locked in a solid finish, while Cook had to fight every step of the way to slide into that cut.
It wasn’t flashy, but it was a gritty way to start the year. Thanks for following along — can't wait to show y'all Okeechobee.
