The PERFECT Green Lantern Audition tape - REBEL RIDGE Review!

Описание: Finally got a chance to see Rebel Ridge which is as terrifyingly topical as Rambo / First Blood was 42 Years ago. When this dropped on Netflix last month there was so much buzz around it, and it's lead, Aaron Pierre, that seemed to translate directly into his being cast as John Stewart / Green Lantern for James Gunn's new DCU. And frankly, I get it. The Dude is a superhero. DC Studios casting remains immaculate and he's no exception. Fortunately, the movie is also exceptional. A smart, action packed, thrill ride dealing with all manner of corruption, intrigue, and people backed into corners navigating their way out. Loved the intelligence behind this type of action film, and hope to see much more like it.

Rebel Ridge is a 2024 American crime action thriller film written, produced, directed and edited by Jeremy Saulnier. The film stars Aaron Pierre as Terry Richmond, a former Marine who has the funds needed to post bail for his cousin unjustly seized via civil forfeiture by a small town's corrupt police force. Don Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, David Denman, Emory Cohen, Steve Zissis, Zsané Jhé, Dana Lee, and James Cromwell also appear in the film.

Rebel Ridge was released by Netflix on September 6, 2024 to positive critical reviews.
