Does chain colour affect Wax lifespan?

Silca had put out on a video a little bit ago that they had seen Sram Rainbow chains have a lower treatment lifespan vs silver, and advised to avoid rainbow colour if you needed longer treatment lifespans in general between waxings.

Since then, the number of enquiries around should i not buy rainbow, or what colour has the best wax bond, or can you tell me is black as good as gold or silver etc etc - has continued to rise.
