Every bit counts & I t adds up! In this video, I'm sharing how I preserved food every single day this week — because no harvest is too small, and truly every bit counts when you're building a pantry from scratch.
This week on the homestead, we:🌱 Preserved garden-fresh onions and made homemade onion powder🌽 Froze fresh, local sweet corn AND made cream-style corn for easy meals later🌿 Dehydrated herbs and made a flavorful herbed salt blend🍅 Canned homegrown tomatoes🌶️ Made a sweet & spicy pepper jelly (perfect for holiday gifts!)
This challenge is such a powerful reminder that preserving food doesn't have to be overwhelming. A little bit each day adds up fast — and your future self will thank you!
