James Marsters is most known for his break-out role as Spike in Buffy the vampire slayer as well as the spin-off series Angel. James was a theatre actor with no ambition to get into television. Luckily for us, although not so fortunate for him at the time becoming a father meant needing an income and "starving actor" didn't exactly qualify. Apart from acting James has also done a lot of voice over work for animations and games, he narrates the Dresden files series audio books and has a rock band called Ghost of the Robot. As we focus on tv and film work, these have been left out of our extensive list of James' filmography.
