Set out on an early Fall season solo canoe trip through the Debsconeag Lake Wilderness Area of Maine. Part 1 captures the trip from the Put-in at Grant Brook Road Bridge and into Third Debsconeag Lake. Wind was challenging and the nights were cold but overall the weather was perfect. Utilized my new Dragoon Unlimited backpacking stove www.dragoonunlimited.com which was purchased by recommendation of Ray of @Riverbend_longbows. Stove worked great. Also used my new Bending Branches 57" Arrow paddle which allowed me to overcome the wind conditions. Very comfortable Paddle. Mt. Katahdin the dominant structure in Northern Maine can be seen frequently on this trip and in my video.
