Описание: After US President Trump’s repeated claims that Washington stopped India-Pakistan conflict now China claimed credit. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Dec 30 said Beijing had played a mediating role in India-Pakistan standoff. Wang Yi made his statement during a Symposium on the Int’l Situation & China's Foreign Relations said Chinese Foreign Ministry. Wang's remarks come months after India and Pakistan were locked in a brief but intense military confrontation in May. The conflict was triggered by a terror attack in the Pahalgam in J&K on April 22, which took 26 innocent lives. India responded with Op Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. India has consistently dismissed claims of third-party mediation, maintaining the conflict was resolved through direct communication
