Headcorn, Kent - a late summer visit to a wonderful village

Описание: I visited Headcorn on a very warm September day and it is beautiful, full of history, and picturesque. It has a typical range of shops, and just off the main street is Church Walk with some outstanding old houses plus of course the church itself. It also has a part in history 1) where Winston Churchill stayed when he was Chancellor during the First World War and 2) where the villages came out to feed the troops on their way home following the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940.
