With its massive size and treacherous terrain, Big Red is a formidable obstacle that requires careful navigation and a sturdy vehicle. Starting from Oodnadatta Roadhouse, on this 5-day journey, we head to Dalhousie Springs, then take the Rig Road to the WAA Line, then head north on Knolls Track, to pick up the French Line to Poeppel Corner and then join the QAA Line to Eyre Creek from there, we head to Big Red and finish up at the famous Birdsville Hotel for a burger and cold-one.
