SHORT REPORT OF THE DEBATE BETWEEN YUSUF ADEPOJU of ACADIP NIGERIA & EVANGELIST OLULEKE ADEBAYO of CHURCH OF CHRIST, OYO. - Yusuf Olatunde Adepoju

The Debates were held on 16th and 17th of January 2015. Special thanks go to the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), the Department of State Security (DSS) the ACADIP Security Crew (ASEC) & other Security agencies that were detailed for the programme.

The atmosphere was favourable. By 4.30pm, thousands of Muslim faithful were already on seats, anxiously waiting for the ACADIP Crew, Evangelist Oluleke Adebayo and his entourage to arrive.

By 5.00pm, the DEBATE commenced. Evang. Oluleke Adebayo of Church of Christ, Oyo was the first speaker, he used fifteen (15) minutes to dish out his exegetical exposition. He endeavoured to convince people on why "our Noble Qur'an should be rejected as the Book of God" (May Allah curtail him)

For good fifteen minutes of wallowing in a welter of theological puzzles and spiritual conundrum, no meaningful scriptural evidence was advanced to purport his unwelcomed thesis. What a big drama on the stage?

However, the Evangelist finally concluded that "the Holy Bible is the only book on earth today that, can give mankind the much needed Eternal Salvation, quoting 2Timothy 3:16 as a proof.

Hmmm, it was now my turn to speak. And as the second speaker, just like a defendant in a civil proceeding. I wonder if these so called "Bible Thumpers" have ever taken their time to read their Bible from "Cover to Cover" or "Genesis to Revelation" rather.

Within my limited time, I advanced three undebatable facts, to logically and rationally substantiate my Proof "why the Bible can never be a complete word of God"

No.1, The Bible, in the book of Obadiah,1:1 of KJV reports that, a RUMOUR is being heard from God. What a calculated insult on His Majesty! Even, when I was in Primary school, my teacher taught me that "RUMOURS ARE CARRIED BY HATERS, SPREAD BY FOOLS, AND ACCEPTED BY IDIOTS."

No.2, Contradictions and inconsistencies mar all versions of the Bible, including most original manuscripts.

The Jehovah Witnesses, in their AWAKE MAGAZINE of 1957 edition, revealed that, "There are 50,000 errors in the Bible" while, the 32 eminent scholars of the Bible, with the cooperating 52 denominations reported at the preface of Revised Standard Version (RSV), that, "the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible has grave defects, and the defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision" This is shocking and sensational. WHAT A BOMBSHELL !

Number3, The Bible contains many ill-befitting attributes of God: I gave the Evangelist, just four examples. He became pertubed. Why? Because he has never come across them in the Bible. Just take a look:

(1) Smoke and fire went out of God's nostrils and mouth respectively.-2Samuel,22:7-9;

(2) God came down to see the city and the tower built by men.-Genesis,11:5;

(3) After creating the Heavens & the Earth for six days, God became tired, weak and exhausted. He (God) therefore rested and was refreshed.-Exodus,31:17;

(4) God created a female without breasts in the Bible.-Song of Solomon,8:8;

I ended my 15-minute submission with just a seeming contradiction in the Bible ! Just see this !

God says in the Bible, "...you cannot see my face, for no one shall see me and live" -Exodus,33:20

Interestingly, Mr Oluleke openly said "the is no where in the Bible where God spoke to any human being "face to face" I thereafter quoted the verses below. Guess what! Our dear Evangelist became psycologically dazed and disturbed.

"Thus, the LORD used to speak to Moses, FACE to FACE, as a man speaks to his friend" -Exodus,33:11.
