Award-winning nail artist Kirsty Meakin did this icy design for our December cover. The U.K.-based tech brought her own inspiration to the photo shoot - jewelry set with bold white and clear crystals - and recreated the dramatic look on extra-long stiletto nails built with a combination of acrylic and gel. To keep the shine factor high, Meakin finished the nails by carefully applying gel top coat around each embellishment, rather than covering and dulling the glittering facets.
Inspired by the stunning nail art, makeup artist Taylor Babaian applied dramatic eye makeup in complementary shades while hair stylist Sienree created shimmering waves. The final result: A brilliant mix of top-notch technique and talent.
