Keir Starmer’s refusal to resign could send Labour into a ‘death spiral’

“While Keir Starmer might not be prepared to give up, I think the British people have well and truly given up on Keir Starmer,” Mr Begg told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“And now, many Labour backbenchers and prominent Labour figures have given up on Keir Starmer as well.

“He is the most unpopular prime minister, at least since records began polling on that question.

“If Keir Starmer is talking about not resigning, they [Labour] might have a … leadership crisis, which will really put the government into a death spiral.”
