Why haven’t I cleared my summer backlog yet…

I spent the longest time pitting this against Bubble Gum and Right Now, while also working only on traditional remixes. This is why Magnetic was the last 8-bit adaptation I did for a good while.

Since the triangle wave was good enough for the bass, the DPCM channel was used to handle the orchestra hits throughout the song (which I pre-recorded using a VST, then converted into DPCM quality through Furnace processing), while the three extra squares from the 5B chip are all used to mimic the electric piano. (I find that I’m still not capable of sounding like an actual Nintendo.)

I also found out that for the most part the song is based off of an extremely repetitive bunch of loops, which saved me some work. However, I didn’t cross-check all of the details so I might have missed some minor things but it should be alright. (My perfectionist inner demon is screeching at me.)
