Even from a distance, I could already sense the age of the tunnel. A flashlight is necessary because it's extremely dark inside, and luckily, we had brought one with us. As soon as we entered, it sent shivers down my spine. Aside from the darkness, it's quite cold inside the tunnel and you can hear the dripping water from above. The ambiance inside this tunnel is quite different, especially after learning the history of it. I wish I could slow down my pace but I couldn't because there were other travelers behind me wanting to traverse the tunnel as well.
