Lt. Gen. A. K. Singh is an alumnus of National Defense Academy, Khadagwasla and Indian military Academy, Dehradun. Commissioned into the Seventh Battalion of the Eleventh Gorkha Rifles in 1984, General A.K.Singh has had an illustrious career spanning over 3 and a half decades. A recipient of many military honours (as his name already suggests) he is an Alumnus of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling and a keen trekker and a mountaineer. He is an ardent reader with interests in geopolitics, spirituality, spiritual
literature, history and nature.
