Punar Vivah is a television serial that revolves around two people, Yash Scindia who is a wealthy wedding planner and the other is Aarti who is a divorcee. Yash is a widower who lives in Bhopal with his two daughters named Payal and Palak. Aarti also has a son named Ansh. Her in-laws want her to get married to Yash and Yash’s family also wants the same. For this marriage, Aarti’s in-laws hide the fact that she is a divorcee and tells them she is also a widow. Yash and Aarti get married for the wellbeing of their children. Soon Aarti becomes comfortable with Yash’s joint family. Yash still is in love with his first wife, Arpita. They go on a trip to Mumbai where Aarti and Yash come closer, and Aarti tells Yash that she loves him. Yash gets disturbed by this and cut short he vacations and they both return. Yash decides to not talk to her, and a distance develops between them.
One day Aarti faints and finds out that she is pregnant. Yash is confused and that is when she recalls that they consummated their marriage while they were intoxicated one day. But Yash doesn’t listen to this explanation and thinks she took advantage of him. They both stop talking to each other and must hide the pregnancy from the family. The rest of the story follows them as they start to get comfortable around each other. The show follows their love story and how they tell the family their secret. The show was written by Shobhit Jaiswal, Anil Nagpal, Seema Mantri, and Usha Dixit. The show was produced under Shashi Sumeet Productions. Kratika Senger plays the role of Aarti while Gurmeet Choudhary plays the role of Yash Scindia.
