Master Food Photography with These Camera Setting Tips! 🍴✨
️⃣ Aperture (f-stop): Use a wide aperture (low f-number like f/2.8 or f/4) for a shallow depth of field to blur the background and make your dish the star. For flat-lay shots, use a smaller aperture (f/8 or higher) to keep everything in focus.
️⃣ Shutter Speed: Food doesn’t move, so you can use slower shutter speeds (1/60s or slower) if you're on a tripod. For handheld shots, stick to at least 1/250s to avoid camera shake.
️⃣ ISO: Keep your ISO low (100–400) to avoid grain and keep your image sharp. If you’re in a darker setting, raise the ISO just enough without losing quality.
️⃣ White Balance: Use your camera's preset for the lighting type (daylight, cloudy, or tungsten) or set a custom white balance to keep your colors accurate.
️⃣ Focus Mode: Switch to manual focus for complete control over which part of the dish is sharp. For autofocus, make sure to target the dish's most enticing detail.
️⃣ RAW Format: Shoot in RAW to preserve detail and make editing a breeze. You can fine-tune exposure, color, and sharpness later without losing quality.
