This is the brand new Viltrox AF 35mm f/1.7 XF video test. The 35mm works out like a 50mm focal length. It is the best focal length for B-roll. And with the large aperture of f/1.7. Everything just look cinematic.
This lens is very sharp even at wide open, at f/1.7 it gives you very creamy bokeh. But of course if you stop it down to f/2.8. The lens gives you the best result. During my test, I was using the Fulfilm X-T50. So even the lens did not have O.I.S. But the camera IBIS was able to keep the shots very steady.

Overall, I think this is a fun lens. You don’t need to spend a lot of money and you can still get very cinematic quality video. And the best thing is, this lens weights nothing. So you can always bring it with you no matter where you go. Especially when you travel. Remember, light weight is the key.
