Don't TPK your PF2 group like I did... Mark Seifter has the answer!

Описание: My Pathfinder 2 group TPK'd in their second game session in part because I wasn't sure how many encounters and of what difficulty they could face in one adventure, before resting and recovering resources (that don't recharge between encounters). This was frustrating for me, so when I had Mark Seifter on a live stream on April 27, I asked him how many encounters a PF2 group should face before resting. He revealed that PF2 characters can face an almost unlimited amount of trivial or low-difficulty encounters before needing to rest and recover resources; however, they could only take on 1 moderate and maybe 1 severe before needing to do so. Thus, the answer to "how many encounters then?" is a handful of trivial/low encounters, 1 moderate, and maybe 1 severe -- and THEN the group is going to need to withdraw, rest, and recover resources, such as spells and other things that don't recharge between encounters.
