This is a review of my 2011 Alumacraft Lunker 2 with a Yamaha 40 horsepower 4 stroke tiller. I purchased this boat earlier this year due to the Covid-19 shutdown of the Canadian border. I have been traveling to smaller lakes in Minnesota and fishing with it. Recently I mounted a Minnkota Powerdrive 70lb 24 volt trolling motor on it. I also had a custom cover made for it. This boat is fantastic for what Ive been using it for. The Yamaha runs great and is very easy on gas. This is the ultimate small to medium water size boat. I would only change two things. I would have a vinyl floor and redesign part of the layout in the cockpit area. Otherwise, this boat has plenty of storage and it is comfortable to fish 3 adults, whether casting or jigging.
