Описание: The public roundtable “Elfenbeinturm oder Arena? Wisschenschaft in der Demokratie?” took place on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the University of Zurich. It included the following speakers: Dr. Katja Gentinetta (GENTINETTA* SCHOLTEN), Prof. Dr. Svenja Goltermann (University of Zurich), Dr. Michael Hermann (Sotomo), and Prof. Dr. Thomas Widmer (University of Zurich). The discussion was moderated by Peer Teuwsen (Neue Zürcher Zeitung).

The lecture was part of DemocracyNet’s 2015-2016 four-event series “Democracy: Bridging Facts and Norms.” This event series was organized by three members of DemocracyNet: Alice el-Wakil, Lea Heyne, and Lukas Peter (all three affiliated to the University of Zurich in 2016).
