Their sandals crunched softly on the stone path.
Their hearts were heavy.
They didn’t understand what had happened — and they felt alone.

But then… a kind stranger joined them on the road.
He listened carefully.
He spoke about God’s great rescue plan, hidden in the Scriptures all along.

As the two friends listened, something amazing happened:
🌟 Hope began to glow inside them again!

When they finally reached their village, they invited the stranger to stay.
At the table, as He broke the bread…
✨ Their eyes were opened — and they realized — it was JESUS!

He had been with them the whole time.
And He’s still with us today.
