This is a short video showing how Skywatcher SynscanPro app. can be used on Android with Stellarium version which automatically links to the Skywatcher app. So far I tend not to use this feature, but may do in future.
It shows (1) connecting the Synscan app. to the telescope (2) a basic one star (!?! OK Planet) alignment (3) switching on the Stellarium app. (which automatically connected to the telescope) (4) a bit of a look around the app. (and changing the time to now rather than after dark) - you will notice the app. already "knows" where the telescope is pointing (5) a couple of goto moves using the Stellarium.
This phone is 4 years old, and I also often use a much older Android phone and they work fine.
A slight caveat is that I set the app up months ago, but I am pretty sure it was free and that it automatically found the telescope (unlike when using the apps on my PC).
