Viewer’s Overlocker - Mechanic broke it - I fixed it Singer 14SH754

Описание: I fixed the Overlocker that was destined for the trash. With an increasing amount of people taking up sewing in the lockdown, it’s not surprising there will be more machines to service. I’m reading more and more about the cowboy mechanics who; don’t know how, can’t be bothered or would rather push a sale of a new machine.

That just means people who are already struggling through these austere times end up waiting weeks and months for their machine to return from the repair shop, sometimes, not fixed and are left without a machine through little fault of their own.

Unless the rust is too deep or the circuitry is blown (and no longer available). Pete and I don’t quit and we’ve repaired parts that won’t be sold to me. I’ve been told many times to ask a real engineer to look at my machine. I’ve been told I don’t sound like an engineer. It’s frustrating and infuriating when a man is derogatory but it’s sad and disappointing when I get these kind of comments from another woman.
