I Tried Sephora’s first black owned clean beauty brand Lys Beauty. The brand Lys Beauty drops today on Sephora.com and I’m so excited. Lys Beauty offers clean makeup products for women and all of the products are all under $22. All of the products are clean, cruelty free, vegan and contain plant based ingredients.

The brand was founded by Tisha Thompson, a trained makeup artist who noticed a void in the makeup market. She built LYS Beauty to cater to all skin types and textures while addressing skincare concerns such as hyperpigmentation, dark spots and sensitive skin.

I forgot to mention in the video LYS Beauty products are shaped in the triangle shape (Delta) to represent change. They want to inspire change and remind customers how they can positively change the way they treat, talk and love themselves.

LYS Beauty products are sustainable and features packaging that uses consumer recycled materials.
