Описание: Vishal Kumar Singh (@vishalsinghbook) is a photojournalist and 3D artist whose career bridges the worlds of Hollywood animation and hard-hitting social documentary photography. For 8 years, he worked as a 3D artist with leading studios such as DreamWorks and Disney, contributing to global entertainment projects.

Beyond the studio, his true calling has been storytelling through the lens. For the past 7 years, Vishal has immersed himself in the coal mines of Jharia, documenting the relentless struggle for survival in one of the world’s most hazardous living environments. This long-term project has now taken shape as his first photography book, The Burning City, soon to be published.

With his camera as his companion, Vishal is now setting out across India to live alongside communities whose lives embody resilience and survival, continuing his journey as both witness and storyteller.

He is also a Contributor to Agence France-Presse (AFP) and the author of The Burning City.
