Bitter gourd fry is a very healthy and nutritious recipe, liked by all. It has a bitter, spicy and sweet taste. Bitter gourd fry was appreciated and insisted by Srila Prabhupada and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Prabhupada was also fond of urad dal kachoris and hot jalebis since childhood.

Ingredients:
6 medium sized bitter gourd
1 cup water for boiling
1 tsp salt
1 tsp tamarind pulp
6 to 7 tbsp oil for shallow fry
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
3 tbsp roasted crushed peanuts
2 tsp jaggery
