Ed Cherry Trio + Peter Bernstein performs "Mellow Mood" composed by Wes Mongomery and Jimmy Smith LIVE at Mezzrow NYC@mezzrowjazzclub8350 on Monday June 3, 2024.

This time Ed had his amazing Trio of Eric Wheeler on Double Bass, and Anwar Marshall on drums.

Ed Cherry is a legendary jazz guitarist known for his work with Dizzy Gillespie from 1978 to 1992, and for his own recordings and projects as a band leader since that time. He is widely known as for his melodicism, exuding a deep expressiveness on the guitar attributed to great singers such as Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and Frank Sinatra.

It was a fabulous performance the entire night with fantastic musicianship from all and a great vibe!
