Thematic Panel 4: Rehabilitation, Reintegration, and Recidivism
Understanding pathways to disengagement, deradicalization, and supporting rehabilitation and reintegration as well as preventing recidivism remain key concerns for practitioners in counterterrorism, countering extremism, and across fields from psychology to security. This panel will consider current challenges in rehabilitation and reintegration across global contexts, and propose recommendations and approaches for effective policy and programming.
