He became interested in dental surgery after an accident broke his upper jaw and knocked out his front teeth. An externship in Shreveport inspired Dr. Brockman to pursue his medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine and residency training in maxillofacial surgery at the same location. He completed a craniomaxillofacial surgery fellowship at Willis Knighton Health.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Brockman enjoys time with his wife and daughter. He personally enjoys cooking/barbequing and fishing.
