Thanks in part to Ina's help, the Toyotomi defeated the Hojo and Japan was Unified... for now at least. Hideyoshi gave the Kanto region to the Tokugawa as a thank you for helping him. However, the people of Kanto know jack all of Ieayasu and not only that, many of it's people are being plagued by bandits! Ieayasu sends Ina out on her own to do some Bandit hunting...
