BSA Committee on the Environment: AIA Materials Pledge - Signing on and Reporting (04/22/25)

Описание: The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is a BSA/AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that empower all AIA members to realize the best social and environmental outcomes with the clients and the communities they serve.

This session is for designers and architects who have signed on to the AIA Materials Pledge and will be reporting this spring, or those who are working to get their firm to sign, or those who are curious about the Pledge. Come hear from a panel of architects and designers who will speak to their firm’s process in committing to, implementing, and reporting on the AIA A&D Materials Pledge in order to optimize their building material performance through the lenses of human health, social health and equity, ecosystem health, climate health, and a circular economy.
