I thought it was about time I took my little dog Patches along for a day on the boat. we set off from Sylvian Beach at around 09.00 with little idea of where we would go we started sailing up the passage with SSE breeze and were going to sail to Toorbul but once we reached the yellow marker near Dux Creek the leading boats turned and headed for for Ningi Creek, we sailed up to a small boat ramp at the end of Moffat Esplanade and anchored there at low tide for a late morning tea. Leaving the ramp the tide was coming in and the wind was coming from the same direction 2 boats ended up motoring out till they reached open water and 2 remaining boats tacked our way out. I think Patches enjoyed his first sailing trip as he slept the whole way home.
