Key Aspects of the New Dual Use NOC System
Online Portal:
The entire process is now digital and managed through the CDSCO's Sugam Portal.
User Registration:
Applicants must register on the Sugam portal with the "Dual Use NOC" user role.
Integrated Registration Form:
A mandatory form needs to be filled out, along with uploading required documents like an address proof and an undertaking form.
Two-Phase Process:
Phase I (NOC Issuance): Registration and application for the NOC on the Sugam Portal.
Phase II (Port Clearance): Submission of import documentation, including the Certificate of Analysis, bill of entry, product labels, and invoices at the port office after NOC is granted.
NOC Validity:
The NOC issued is valid for one year from the date of registration or until the sanctioned amount is exhausted, whichever occurs first.
