To prevent the theft of precious minerals by means of using a state of art technology.
Presently at the mines, each vehicle carrying materials and calculates weight based on the number of the wheels.
There is no “weigh bridge” at the mines, so weight of the vehicle is estimated as per the number of tyres in the vehicle.
There are many incidences where duplicated and used by the contractors for more than one vehicle thereby evading the payments for the extra minerals transported from the mines. Govt. is not able to check these malpractices, adopted by the contractors, which is resulting in the loss of revenues to the state.
There is no provision of preventing illegal mining except by physical verification.
There is no provision of checking of overloading of vehicles.
It is mandatory for all vehicles used in mining, to be registered with mining department, but there is no authentication at any level. Contractors are using fake number plates for illegal mining.
To prevent all these thefts we propose the model.
