Join Jonas Schorr, Partner at Urban Impact, on his journey around Berlin to get to know the Smart City ecosystem of Germany's capital.
In this episode, Jonas walks and talks with Matthias Heskamp from paper planes e.V. where their project "Radbahn" is redesigning the underutilized space underneath the U1 viaduct, backed by the city of Berlin. The team plans to roll out 9 km of bicycle infrastructure in the future. Their first goal will be to use 200m as a testbed for innovative concepts that could improve the cycling and walking experience along the U1 between Zoologischer Garten and Warschauer Straße.
