In my tour we are up to Siren "F". Just THREE LEFT - G, H and I. You're probably going to be sick of me mentioning this, but one of these remaining sirens is epic!!! AND...I've filmed it sounding!

WHY ARE THERE ESCAPE SIRENS?
There are nine sirens installed in surrounding towns and villages of The State Hospital of Carstairs. The sirens warn residents of a missing person from the hospital (or a possible escapee). Persons should remain in their homes and keep their children supervised. Schools have their own procedures, which is where a few of the sirens are located.
Patients at this psychiatric hospital are generally dangerous people who need specialist treatment and would be a danger to the public if they were treated in a standard hospital.
