The last two trips to Lake Forest has been giving us really surprising results. This third trip to Lake Forest this year has continued to give us surprising results. Our crew headed out trackside before the snow falls out to Lake Forest, IL on the CP C&M Subdivision. While we were there, the action was mainly dominated by the Metra and Amtrak trains as only two freight trains were able to make their way through until a bunch of them came towards the afternoon just as we were packing it up for the day. However, we were facing more windy conditions but not as bad as last week at Rondout. Overall, it was a solid day out trackside on the CP.
