After cycling across America, Annalisa and I continued the series on a 1,000-mile loop around Alaska. The film series, Miles of Portraits: Alaska documents not only the stories of these people we meet but also our own story, managing our type 1 diabetes out in the middle of nowhere.
The first episode tells the story of how this trip began and the kind souls who helped push us off on our journey.
