Bob pioneered many VW engine modifications and shares his knowledge freely. Bob has also built equipment that went to the moon, in fact, its up there right now and still in service - now that's progressive!

Bob's writing style is both humorous and, at the same time, serious - Sure to be cherished for generations to come! Not into VWs, aviation or engines? No problem - his writings have something for everyone - Bob was indeed, a GREAT man! But don't take my word for it, go see for yourself :-D

Yes, Bob is published and has written technical articles for several VW magazines. You may not agree with everything he sez, but you WILL definitely learn something from him, in fact you will learn a lot - Bob certainly knows how to make you laugh (and THINK).

There are very few photos (2) of Bob available to the public. In the true sharing spirit of Bob Hoover, his surviving family has released these, never before seen photos, of him so that those who loved him may, at last, have a better understanding of 'who' he really was - to put a 'face' with his writings. Many thanks go out to his family.
